Water wars

I have no pictures for you, just an annoyed story. Apparently from January until March the kids participate in outrageous water fights with balloons and guns, mostly between each other, but on most days I am lucky enough to get hit by one or two, all the houses here have flat roofs and or balconies so they like to torture the passers by using water balloons or just dumping buckets full of water down on to anyone they chose, and Shawn and I stand out pretty good here, and I think they get 100 extra bonus points IF they hit us, some are lucky, but most, thank goodness they enjoy soccer more than baseball....

wetfully yours....

Slung

So I have been trying to capture pictures of babies in these slings that all the mothers wear, and on our way home from teaching english on day, there she was, the perfect little bored face, right outside our apartment door! The cutest little girl who is obviously tired of being slung around like rice.

Dance Party

We went to a Dance on the Saturday before New Years eve at the Church in BaƱos del Inca. We had fun, and I was asked to dance more than Shawn. We of corse went with the Pachas and Cielo met a few of her friends there. We danced the night away, until 10 o´clock and then went home. We´re getting old!

Another Cemetary

we went walking a couple weeks ago and found the Cajamarca Cemetary, the whole thing for the most part in all above ground. check out this photos, the are miniture houses for the dead!

And then theres where they bury the poor, in the ground. And the middle class get put in a massive wall of dead, there were walls of dead everywhere, all decorated with pictures flowers candles, some behind locked glass doors others handpainted, it was seriously nuts!
