We have arrived

I've been home for a good 3 weeks now, Shawn barely 4 days... We thought we'd share just a few photos from Ecuador with you, Of corse we got to go to the equator, and here's the proof, half of each of us in the north and south hemispheres. Then there is the Iguana Park we got to visit in Guayaquil, there were a few dozen of those lizards running around - huge. Also a picture of us with a family that shawn baptized ten years ago, it was a beautiful thing to see them, two of their sons are serving missions right now. And the angel, this huge statue sets on a hill over looking the city of Quito, I think it' scalled the Virgin of Quito, I know it was some thing like that a saint or something catholic. I never got to see it up close. Shawn knew a family in Guayaquil who moved to Quito, we went to church with them, and Shawn stayed a few days with them after I left. They took him to see the angel. It was a great trip, there was also a tram in Quito that Shawn got to go on. It takes you up to a volcanoe and it is a beautiful sight from up there, but it was a bit foggy that day and the pictures didnt turn out so well.

As for our plans now....we'll see. Shawn is busy looking for a job, and we'll see if anything turns up in this area, if not we're off for another adventure. I am busy at work now, it's nice to be back and they were happy to have me, even a raise. If and when shawn finds work here we will finally find a place to call our own. We both grew alot while we were down in South America, and we grew together, it was a good thing to be on our own right after being married. I think we know much more about each other now.
